Ship Halve Maen belongs to the Westfries Museum in Hoorn, a municipal museum. The Westfries Museum has the Halve Maen on loan for a period of 5 years by the New Netherland Museum in New York. The Halve Maen is moored on the southern tip of the Oostereiland at the Center Sailing Heritage. Within this meeting point for lovers of maritime history the Halve Maen is THE visitor attraction.
